Next Energy Management course starts 1 September

Energy management trainingSBC will run another of our popular Energy Management courses in Sydney on 1 and 17 September.

Are you tasked with sustainability, facility or operational management and need a greater understanding of how to reduce your energy consumption, decrease your spend on electricity, or negotiate better energy deals with your suppliers? Do you want to make sense of the jargon that others are using? Do you want to brush up on your knowledge or do you want to break into the exciting field of sustainability consulting? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, then this course is for you.

The training course is sponsored by the OEH and costs only $200 to attend. Eligible* organisations will get $3,000 worth of energy management support for a small contribution of $300. In the course, you will be able to network with your peers and learn how others have successfully implemented energy efficiency or renewable energy opportunities. Part of the course package is an energy management tool and an energy management book.

The course follows the ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard, which is the world’s leading energy management system increasingly being adopted by companies internationally. It is a flexible and comprehensive system standard that provides benefits for organisations in both private and public, manufacturing as well as services sectors.
